May Property Auction: A Look at the Results
Town and Country’s May Auction was another resounding success, with over £12.5m+ in properties sold through our national online platform.
Throughout the month, we listed a diverse range of properties, including residential homes, commercial buildings, and vacant land across the UK.
The auction attracted significant attention from buyers nationwide, all eager to engage in the competitive bidding process. The wide variety of properties available sparked fierce competition, driving strong results across the board.
Auction Highlights

We saw competitive bidding on Fairlorne Court, a total of 26 bids were placed on this one bedroom apartment in need of some modernisation and sold for £83,000.

A total of 10 bids were placed on this one bedroom apartment in the Georgian quarter of Liverpool and sold for £75,000.

An attractive investment opportunity was offered in the North West Auction, generating £6,000 per annum and sold with tenants in situ. The property amased 14 bids and sold for £65,000.

An exceptional investment opportunity in the form of a 2 bedroom apartment located on the waterfront on the popular Island of Rothesay was offered in the Scotland Auction. The property sold for £21,000.

The South Auction offered a beautiful period property set upon an extensive plot and lying within an idyllic juxtaposition between town centre living and the open countryside.

We saw highly competitive bidding, a total of 30 bids were placed and this well-maintained property comprising two self-contained apartments sold for £318,000.

A four bedroom mid terraced house in need of refurbishment sold at the South Wales Auction for £62,000.

We saw significant interest pre-auction in this non standard construction property in need of improvement in Port Talbot. The property was purchased prior to the Auction.

A total of 9 bids were placed on this one bedroom cottage in Cheadle and sold for £75,000 acheving £10,000 over the Guide Price.

We saw significant interest in Robin Hood Farm which offers an exceptional opportunity to acquire a substantial four-bedroom detached farmhouse set within approximately 3.1 acres of land. The property sold prior to auction achieving £100,000 over the Guide Price.

Buyer’s were quick to snap up this one bedroom flat in the lower ground floor of a Victoria Detached House in London.

Set in a sought after location, Marland Way, Stretford offered a fantastic investment opportunity with a strong rental potential and was sold prior to the Auction.

The North East Auction featured a high yield investment opportuntiy and sold prior to the Auction.

An outstanding opportunity to acquire a detached three-bedroom chalet standing in approximately quarter of an acre, having outstanding views over Traeth Bychan beach towards Moelfre on the beautiful island of Ynys Môn. Potential to create a stunning holiday home.

A two bedroom end terrace property was offered in the Yorkshire Auction and was sold prior to the Auction.

An extended 4 bedroomed end terrace situated in a popular central residential location, convenient for a wide range of local amenities was sold in the West Midlands Auction.
